The joys of toddlerhood?
I mean, honestly who says that? Yes, their are many moments of happiness, but I’m sure there are also a TON of moms who wish they saw the next stop sign out of toddlerville!
Maybe your head is turning in poltergeist circles because your once “innocent” sweet baby has turned into a terror!
Does your once food loving child, now hate EVERYTHING you put on their plate, for the 5th time today?
Or how about those wonderful moments when you walk into your toddlers room, to find them naked, with poop all over the bed! Ekkkk! Yes, it happens!
Well, we are here to help.
Yes, I said we.
Myself, and my co-host, – mother of twins, long time friend, one of the funniest people I know, and oh, superduper smart in the world of toddlerhood….I promise you are gonna loooove her!
Her name? Jamie, and you can read all about her and her beautiful family this Thursday! So excited to introduce her to you all!
I have known Jamie literally all my life. You see, Jamie’s sister is my childhood best friend. (Yes, I still have a best friend from when I was 5, lucky gal aren’t I.) Anyways, Jamie has always been like a little sister to me. Our families have been neighbors and close friends for almost 30 years. So, it was only fitting (and perfect timing) when I was looking to bring someone on to help me out with my blog, Jamie was all for it.
And this is what we are bringing to you, our Life As a Toddler Series.
We come to you as moms who don’t know it all, but we sure as heck are trying to figure it out.
First things first, we will NOT be judgy. Remember my “who should read this blog” mission statement I made when I started this, if not, go ahead read it here 🙂 We do not judge.
Also, we will not tell you how to do it, but we will give our advice, for what is working for us. There are so many ways to parent, and we understand that. Don’t expect perfection, but listen to what we have done, and hopefully try it, and see if it works for you.
Lastly, bring your ideas to the conversation. We write and live the things we are chatting about, but want to hear what YOU have done as well! Let’s start community around helping moms get through toddlerhood!
Here are some brief details:
– We will try and post every Thursday. (I say try, but it actually might be more, we have enough content to write a book by now)
– You can join our Facebook Group called Life As A Toddler here.
– Subscribe to our newsletter! We are going to have some really fun recipes, free printables, etc! Sign Up Here!
– Make sure to follow our journey more on Facebook, Instagram (mine and Jamie’s), Twitter, and of course Pinterest. (we have a whole board with ideas)
We hope you enjoy the series, and most importantly, celebrate the great things you are making happen in those toddler years! See you this Thursday for our first post, it’s a going to be a good one!!
